so there is this white lady who is giving up her baby to a gay couple in alaska
and her friend/old co-worker who she hangs around because their kids get along is giving her shit about giving her baby up to a gay couple
talking about “homosexuality is an abomination” and blah blah blah
yo, if you two are not even friends like that
kick that homophobic heaux to the curb and let her go stargaze from outside
you don’t need your other young, impressionable children being around a bigot
cause then don’t be surprised when they grow up and join the young republicans in college or some plunder like that
then again, i just feel like i will be one of those helicopter parents in the sense that if you try and indoctrinate my kids into some oppressive/bigoted belief systems then i will just end you right then and there and not care if you had plans for your life the next day
its just like, i believe your kids should be exposed to things just so they are not sheltered. but lawwd have murcy you gotta at least have an ear to the door to know what the trending thought processes are in their brains. you gotta be pro-actively talking to their kids and not trying to black and white right and wrong for them but get them to constructively think about what they are espousing to be their personal truth.
